Our Story

While it might sound simple, our journey has been growing for years and decades. Bob started Austinburg Mill, a venture aimed at providing high-quality local products. Karen opened Better-N-Bulk, a store dedicated to offering bulk items.They worked to provide the community with all the necessities. After leaving the military, Mike and Jenn moved too close to home and helped start the family farm. From greenhouses to grass-fed beef cattle to chickens and vegetables, the goal was simple: good health food. During the pandemic, Jenn found joy in working at the bulk food store and was interested in helping feed the community. The family business grew but still fostered a sense of community by connecting local consumers with fresh, locally sourced products. After years of talk, the family started a new venture, Old Mill Pantry. We aimed to pay homage to the original Austinburg Mill and the bulk store that began over a decade ago. As we drive toward the future, we remember that family, our core values, and the community must be at the front of our new adventure.
